1. The service

Journvex is an online service for keeping a journal of your own trades, with a calendar, analytics, strategies, reports and screenshot storage. The service is provided by [Company name] (reg. no. [Company registration number]), referred to as “we”.

2. No financial advice

The service is a tool for journaling and analysing your own recorded data. We do not give investment advice, recommendations or signals, we do not place orders, and we have no access to your brokerage account. Statistics and analytics are based on what you record yourself and are no guarantee of future results. Trading involves risk of loss, and you are responsible for your own decisions.

3. Account

You must provide a valid email address and choose a password. You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for activity on your account. You must be at least 18 years old. The account is personal and cannot be shared.

4. Plans, subscription and payment

The Free plan costs nothing and includes the dashboard, trades and daily journal, with up to 5 new trades and 5 new journal entries per calendar month.
The Pro plan costs $3.49 per month, in USD, and removes these limits and unlocks all features. VAT is added where required by law.
Payment is made by card through the payment provider Stripe. We do not store your card details.
The Pro subscription renews automatically every month until you cancel it.
You can cancel at any time under Plans or Settings. The subscription runs until the end of the period you have paid for, and no partial refund is given for unused time unless required by law. [Adjust refund policy.]
If a payment fails, we may pause your Pro access until payment is completed. Your data is kept, and you keep access to the Free plan.
We may change the price with at least 30 days' notice. You can cancel before the change takes effect.

[Right of withdrawal: The service is delivered digitally and immediately after payment. Describe how the right of withdrawal is handled for consumers, and that it lapses when you consent to immediate delivery. This must be clarified with a lawyer.]

5. Your content and data

Everything you record (trades, notes, images, strategies) belongs to you. You only grant us the rights we need to store and show the content to you. You can download your data as CSV and JSON at any time, and delete your account and all data yourself under Settings. How we process personal data is described in the privacy policy.

6. Acceptable use

You must not attempt to access other people's data, disrupt operation, abuse the service with automated large-scale use, or upload illegal content. We may close accounts that breach these terms.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available and correct, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation or that it is free of errors. We may change features and update these terms. For material changes we will notify you by email or in the service.

8. Liability

The service is provided “as is”. Our liability is limited to what follows from mandatory law. We are not liable for losses resulting from trading decisions, or for errors caused by information you entered yourself. [To be adjusted by a lawyer.]

9. Termination

You can stop using the service and delete your account whenever you want. When the account is deleted, your content is deleted and the subscription ends.
